My research focuses on the development, structure, and correlates of psychopathy, highlighting that psychopathic features can be identified early in development and present similarly across a diversity of samples (offender, psychiatric, community, corporate). All aspects of the disorder (manipulativeness, callousness, under-controlled, reckless behavior) reflect a fundamental dis-sociality. A question is whether psychopathy is primarily due to presence of 'negative' (dis-social) versus absence of 'positive' (affiliative) human processes.
